Dissemination of knowledge and information in the field of Information Technology and its application and the related technologies.
Accept contribution and fees; grants from government or from other appropriate funding organizations for projects and purposes in consonance with the objectives or spirit of the Society.
Organising training, seminars, workshops, symposia, lectures, debates, panel discussions, conferences and audio-visual shows as a mode of professional interaction on technological and applied aspects of Information Technology and allied disciplines.
Support to society by way of social activities.
Undertake or contract research projects, as and when necessary, in the field of Information Technology, and allied disciplines.
Evolve and define policy-issues, standards and norms related to Information Technology, and its applications and liaise with government and private agencies for the proper development and implementation of the technology.
Recognize and honour professional competency in the field of Information Technology by way of awards, medals, certificates and other suitable methods.
Assist in the organization of chapters of the Society in different parts of the country so as to promote locale specific activities.
Obtain and secure grants, funds, donations and endowments and administering the same for the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Society.
Appoint personnel towards the smooth functioning of the Society.
